About
I'm a technology leader and engineer — a CTO today, and an engineer first for most of my career. I build AI-native systems in production: infrastructure where intelligence is the foundation rather than a layer bolted onto legacy software. Much of my work is about getting LLMs and agents to perform reliably in messy, high-stakes, data-heavy domains — where trust matters and automating noise isn't enough.
Before my current role I spent nearly thirteen years at Innoveo, building cloud-native, low-code platforms for global insurers — the last several as CTO. That grounding in regulated, data-heavy industries shapes how I approach AI: with rigour, not hype. I studied computer science at TU Dresden, specialising in distributed systems and data mining, and have been writing code since before it was a career.
If you're working on applied or vertical AI, or thinking about where software engineering is heading in an AI-first world, I'd love to trade notes — feel free to reach out.
